The Brief

Scoppa Shop is a new online gift and homewares business, based near Canterbury, Kent selling carefully curated gifts, homewares, jewellery, books, cards.

They approached us looking for an e-commerce website that would be the core of the new business.
They wanted the site to be welcoming and to be able to connect with their customers to help them choose items, just as you would in a physical shop. The site needed to reflect the individuality and creativity of the items they sell, and they wanted to feature each of the brands and artists behind the products, with their own profile on the site to help users engage with their work further.

The website will be the entire core of the business, so they needed a quality website, fast, secure, well-built, well optimised and aimed at their target audience. As a creative site, in a competitive market, it needed to stand out from other sites, and reflect the quality and personality of their products. It also needed to be easy for them to use and manage the online shop themselves once built.

Our Solution

We designed and built a custom WordPress theme for Scoppa, using WooCommerce to provide the shop functionality.
The website was designed and built to integrate WooCommerce into the design, ensuring a seamless experience for their customers.
We added each of the artist / brands to WooCommerce using their Brands feature, and created a dedicated page to show all the brands, each one linking to a page displaying their photo, story and all the products by them on the store.

The site has a clean, attractive layout, designed to show off the beautiful merchandise. It features an in depth filtering system where customers can filter by category, recipient, gender, colour, occasion and much more, to allow customers to tailor their search exactly.

The project includes full logo design including a detailed illustration of a shopfront, support with content writing and SEO. Bridget Designs hosting and manages the site on going as well.
